i sprayed on a couple of perfumes at the mall that are riffs on other perfumes; one of them i think is better than its predecessor, the other isn't. the new estee lauder sensuous has that black jammy think that tom ford black orchid has. overripe, dusty fruit. i didn't like it too much from tom ford, but his was undeniable and great in a disgusting way. meaty. it's what i imagine one of those insect eating flowers would smell like. but this one doesn't have any of the woodiness of the other one. too sweet. enough of this sweet bullshit!

rumeur by lanvin i like. it smells like sjp lovely drydown--that dry, warm, scalpy smell--but with some lily of the valley blended in. more buttery. oooohhh, it's good.
