i know. what happened to tam? sigh.

don't worry about magnifique; i didn't super-love it. just like. it was all flowery fruity, but that stony thing was an interesting nod to the whole goth perfume phenomenon. made it a bit nasty, which i liked.

or maybe that was my own unshowered smell?

Not so. I love the fragrance department. In fact, I pretended that it was my blog to the guy at the Seattle Nordstrom as he gave me my coveted perfume sample. Bulgari Black. Smells like rubber and chocolate. While I was purchasing the new new new LAMB Gwen perfumes for a 13th b-day girl. So I love your blog and stole your coolness for just a second.

em- I'm glad you clarified that relationship for our other readers, I already figured it out, but I'm smart that way.

also. forget it. nobody has a way better nose than you do. (sorry, marni, but I can't let this girl sell herself short.)

I love many smells, it is true. And I used to memorize perfumes when I was maybe 8 or 9 years old at the department store, such that I could identify many fine fragrances on grown-up ladies. I was OBSESSED with Avon's Sweet Honesty, and am always trying to find a good description of its components. But Emily's the smart one w/the astute references.
